Wedding Attire Revealed!
You didn’t really think I’d reveal my dress, did you??
To start out with the less exciting stuff, the guys’ tuxes. And let me tell you, Chris was thrilled over the experience:

Can’t you just see the joy and excitement in his face? After a squabble, a bridezilla moment, and a hideous jacket a la Willy Wonka later, these are the ensembles we picked:

The one thing Chris & I did agree on were the shoes. Chris picked these for him and his guys to wear:

And now on to the fun girly stuff!
My maid of honor will be wearing this dress:

And my bridesmaids will be in this dress:

So–Thoughts? Love it? Hate it?

Love the color choices! And the chucks of course
Ooo! I love the blue in the Best Man’s Tux and the Maid of Honor’s dress goes swimmingly with it. (Get it.. aqua.. ocean.. swimming..
)
Personally, I’m not one to get excited about traditional weddings, white dresses, and all that jazz. Therefore, the Converse All Stars are very much up my alley. Though I would have chosen every colour of the rainbow and required all attendees to wear them. (Sponsored wedding by Converse, anyone?)
When I think of Converse and weddings I think of this photograph by the talented photographer Ryan Brenizer.
I hope to see some more giddy photos and video from the wedding preparations over the course of the next year. And, of course, from the actual event.
I LOVE the chucks.
The bridesmaid dresses are totally classy and cute and best of all, re-wearable! It irks me when brides choose dresses you could absolutely never wear again (unless the bride is paying, then they can choose whatever dress they want).
The shoes are great! I like the dresses too. Boyfriend wants to wear Air Force Ones at our wedding, he says. I don’t really care either way….as long as he shows up!
I like the way you’re using different colors in your scheme.
